I'm trying to replace a numeric dimension with a letter to produce an assembly drawing with a variable dimension Dimension symbols are the text symbols you enter to replace the creo parametric default dimension symbol @d. I haven't been able to find a method to remove/hide the numeric value of the dimension, can anyone help?

Learn how to replace a dimension with text in creo, a 3d modeling software commonly used in engineering Can i add something like @d5 to also reference another dimension at the same time? The modify dimension dialog box will appear with a tab for dim text

After selecting this, change the field for dimension text from @d to @s

(the d denotes that the text line will display the dimension value, while the s means the text line will display the dimension symbol). To edit the style of one section of a note, first click to select the entire note, then click again to select just the section you want to change Then close the note editor and proceed as above. This video is part 14 of an entire set of videos to help you get up to speed with creo parametric.

I think only driven dimension can be overridden and not driving dimensions Try placing a new dimension for the same location and use the @o (letter o and not zero). To change the dimension back to normal display, use the preceding procedure and modify @s back to @d or @o (for drawing dimensions that show text instead of a dimension value). Is it possible to create a dimension in a drawing without a visible value

I know you can replace @d with @s and manually type in your own in text however i would like to remove the 'add1' in the image attached.

When in the dimension properties of one dimension, in the display tab, i see the default text is @d which is the current dimension
